Do I need my own Jellyfin server?

Yes. Spinefin is a player for an existing Jellyfin server that you (or someone you trust) host. It does not provide content of its own.

How do I sign in?

Enter your server address and sign in with your Jellyfin username and password, or use Quick Connect from the Jellyfin dashboard.

Why don't my chapters show up?

Spinefin reads chapters from your files, including chapters embedded inside single-file .m4b audiobooks that Jellyfin itself doesn't expose. If a book still shows no chapters, the source file likely has none.

Can I listen offline?

Yes — download a book from its detail page and it plays fully offline. Downloads currently run while the app is open.

Is my data private?

Spinefin collects no data and uses no tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
